By John F. McKenna (McJack): For the past couple of years boxing fans all over the world have held out the hope that the two best pound for pound fighters in boxing would finally square off to determine once and for all, who is the best fighter in the world.
Welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KO’s) and Floyd Mayweather (41-0, 25 KO’s) are universally thought by boxing writers and fans alike to be the best fighters in boxing. A matchup between the two is logical and is the one fight boxing fans really want to see. Instead, for one reason or another the fight has not been made although there have been numerous attempts to put the fight together.
